Finally, I have gotten a good rest. We got to book out on Thurs as Fri was our off day. It really is great cause it freshen us up. Started driving on the main roads of Singapore too on Fri, boy it sure was fun. I should start advocating driving for all, even if you're without a car like me.

Watched two movies just now. Both were nice and at least worth my money, or so i felt. Met ber after my guitar lessons to watch Be With Me. In my opinion, a M18 rating is too harsh. At best should be NC16. Why? Cause the 'so called' lesbian theme is but just a small part of the whole movie. Instead, it's more about love. Elderly love, teenage love & adulthood love. For me, the theme is kinda abstract so it took me sometime to digest it but i certainly enjoyed watching it.

Afterwards, went to Cineleisure to meet up with my class guys for my 2nd movie. And the movie? The Myth! A direct contrast to my previous movie. Totally action packed, as you would expect of a Jackie Chan production but also with a romance theme in it. What's best about these 2 shows? Both also have pretty ladies for eye candy =]

I always remember in shows/books where girls complain of a lack of good guys out there, but we, my frens and i, beg to differ. We take the stand of there's too little good girls out there for us! Girls these days are just getting more and more sophisicated, you see more girls dumping bfs instead of the other way round now. Sigh.

But like always, the world is never fair, and never will it be.

Still very tired from accumulated fatigue over e past weeks and building that stupid bridge. Looking forward to a long weekend this coming week, cause we're given a off day on Friday.

Bought a new guitar! Haha. In order to better master it, of course i would need one myself to practice on. Hope that it doesn't turn out to be another white elephant in my room. Must be committed to it =p

After being at Nee Soon camp for the past 4 days, i have just got to admit, the engineers formation could possibly be the only one that can chiong sua alone and win given more firepower.

You have to take into account many things when going into a battle. Let me give you a clearer picture:

So like i said, if only we had more firepower, maybe throwing in a machine gunner and such, our formation is ready to take on what all other formations are not able to. Thus our tagline: "Clearing the way to victory." Don't get me wrong, it still is boring and sian to be an engineer but at least this is something consoling to remember. Perhaps, the only biggest obstacle that is against us is our stores. No matter which type of engineer, the stores that we have to take out, account for & clean is simply crazy, CRAZY! That's why, the more you are able to do, the more shit you'll have to clear. And for us, that is our stores itself.

Being a field engineer myself, we really learn all sorts of things as mentioned above. And it certainly is not easy. Many more excercises upcoming to keep our combat fitness in shape.

So soon, even quicker than a blink of the eye, the weekend is yet again over. There goes my previous time spent with my computer.

Must admit that this weekend is indeed eventful:
-driving lessons
-guitar lessons
-formatting of comp
-playing again of maplestory
-preparing to play war craft
-army half marathon

Can't wait for another weekend for those 2 lessons to start again. Had my 1st taste of driving, though in rounds at a carpark in tamp meant for heavy vehicle parking. Learnt, or rather practiced braking and target braking. Those interested to take up driving and stay in the east should find my instructor, he's really nice. ^.^
As for guitar, only managed to pluck the 1st string and do some simple excercise. Darn, should have learnt guitar earlier, but at least better late than never. There's even a uncle, at least in his 40-50s in my class, this shows that one is never too old to pick up something.

With my weekends pretty free, I decided to play maplestory once again together with some friends. Been playing for about 3/4 of e day now. Who's still playing do keep in contact k?

Army half marathon is simply just a waste of my time. Hope that i still can get my day off! Was supposed to run 12km, instead I took the shortcut for 6km and there's an even shorter cut to make it less than 6km. The farthest that i went with my speed faster than walking was 200m. =p

Tonight booking into the 'heavenly' place known as nee soon camp. It's a pity i'll only be there for 4 days and most of the days I'll be by the transit river building bridge. Our commanders already warned us that the weather is surely going to be hot and to be prepared to become a red head lobster.

Haiz, with the blue beret in my hand, I'm got no choice but to admit that I'm a field pioneer! *to keep repeating in my head, 1/4 down, 3/4 more to go only.

And so like i mentioned previously, i shall start blogging from here onwards. Today, shall be the birth of a new blog and me.

Allow me to first explain my blog title, 'put your trust in me'. I know it sounds cheesy but that's what i hope you'll do. I believe that I'm a simple person at heart, and only by doing so, could I then be able to reciprocrate it. I wouldn't say I go all out to make friends but once I make new friends, they will always be close to me. Maybe it's because i 'guai4 pi4' so I don't usually make the 1st move in making friends. With that being said, put your trust in me ya? =]

It so happens that today, 09/09/05 is exactly the 1st anniversary since i last started blogging on my previous blog: i-am-jaren.blogdrive.com Reading thru those past posts, it lifted my spirits when I'm down, gave me the motivation when I'm mentally weak, granted me the strength to move on when there's an obstacle, and nonetheless, provided me with the humour I needed in my life.

I am obliged to think that with a year passing, I have matured, grown and be more ready to take on the world. But it is still only the start of the beginning. I think to myself, there's no such thing as fully matured nor grown. Only with ample life experiences will that happen.

Hope you guys and girls could update your links respectively and I'll visit you in awhile.
